Ratelock is a mortgage loan provider brand based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. They create and plan a personalized mortgage experience to finance your next property purchase and get you the lowest possible interest rates from almost all home mortgage loan providers in Canada. Their objective was to design and develop a website to attract a potential audience and create awareness about their brand online. Along with that, they also wanted us to do the initial setup of their social media accounts.
Our role in the project was to help the client communicate their brand’s message to its potential audience by developing a well-structured website and building their social media profiles. First and foremost, we held meetings with them to understand their brand’s nature, values, objectives, vision, the culture of the company and target audience. According to the requirements, we created and presented a few variations of website designs and a blueprint of the plan for the client to review. Later, we worked on the design finalized by the client, made some edits as suggested by the client and delivered the final draft. Overall it took three weeks to complete this project. The client’s response to the final draft was amazing, and we set the website live! For the website, we kept the look and feel of the website professional and relatable to the mortgage industry by using the core colors of the brand and illustrations suitable for loans and mortgages. A few months later, after the website launch, we helped them set up their social media accounts, build their bios, and upload a few posts. We used the same color scheme and illustrations similar to the website to maintain the individuality of the brand.
